The Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman issued a new Administrative Circular addressed to Real estate offices and Real estate brokers, stressing the need to adhere to the controls for practicing Real estate activity.

Nasser Al Marzouqi, Director of the Real Estate Relations Regulation Department, said that the Administrative Circular included a set of basic requirements that all workers in the Real estate Sector must comply with in order to enhance transparency and professional efficiency in the Real estate market،

based on the Amiri Decree No. 12 of 2017 regarding the Regulation of Real estate offices in the Emirate of Ajman.

In detail, he pointed out the necessity for all workers in Real estate offices to obtain a Real estate Activity Practice Card issued by the Department, which includes the job title corresponding to the employee’s actual job, in addition to the requirement to attend the qualifying courses organized by the Department as a basic requirement to obtain the card.

Al Marzouqi stressed that the activity practice card will not be issued or renewed unless the qualification courses are passed according to the real estate activities authorized for the office or real estate broker, explaining that individuals who have a “visit visa” are strictly prohibited from working in any Real estate office, in compliance with the legal procedures regulating the labor market in the Emirate. He added that unqualified workers in Real estate offices must obtain a letter from the Real Estate Licensing Department.

stating the date of the next training course to join, in order to avoid administrative violations, noting that the Department grants a grace period to workers until the date of the specified course, provided that violators are subject to administrative procedures in the event of failure to attend the required training.
