Real estate transactions in the Emirate of Ajman recorded notable activity during the month of January, reaching 1,520 property transactions with a total value of AED 2.07 billion, according to data from the Ajman Real Estate Index.
Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, Director General of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation, stated that the real estate sector witnessed active sales across various property types during January, reflecting investors’ commitment to conducting their business in Ajman and benefiting from the investment opportunities available across all areas of the emirate.
He explained that the trading volume amounted to AED 1.39 billion through a total of 1,284 transactions, with Al Helio 2 recording the highest sale value at AED 34 million, while the highest sale value for off-plan real estate development projects was recorded in Al Zorah at AED 15 million.
The Director General of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation further indicated that January saw the registration of 174 mortgage transactions with a total value exceeding AED 484 million, with Liwara 1 recording the highest mortgage value at AED 123.46 million.
He added that the “Emirates City” project topped the list of the most traded major projects, surpassing both “City Towers” and “Ajman One,” while Al Helio 2 ranked first among the most traded neighborhoods, followed by Al Zahya and Al Helio 1.
