During its participation in the Ajman Government platform at GITEX 2024, the Department of Lands and Real Estate Regulation launched the “Smart Inspection Project”, which is one of the qualitative digital projects in the field of real estate inspection.

His Excellency Eng. Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, Director General of the Department of Lands and Real Estate Regulation, confirmed that the “Smart Inspection Project” is a comprehensive system that brings together an integrated package of real estate procedures through a single system linked to the digital services portal and provides several technical advantages and features that facilitate the tasks of work teams and enhance the quality of inspection outputs.

He explained that the “Smart Inspection Project” contains several sub-systems connected to each other through advanced and innovative digital technologies that enable the Department to access the following systems: Real Estate Offices Classification System, Real Estate Brokers Classification System, Real Estate Developers Classification System, Facility Management Companies and Owners Committees Classification System, Real Estate Offices Inspection System, Real Estate Developers Inspection System, Facility Management Companies and Owners Committees Inspection System, Violations System for Real Estate Activities Practitioners, in addition to the Smart Reports System for Real Estate Activities Practitioners, which are issued in instant smart without the need for employee intervention.

Al Muhairi added that the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation is striving to adopt modern methodologies and work mechanisms in the field of inspection and control in order to regulate the real estate market and develop and  upgrade the quality of services to keep pace with the rapid growth rate witnessed by the real estate sector in the Emirate of Ajman.
