The Department of Land and Real Estate Regulations in Ajman held an introductory workshop to review and explain the policies and mechanism of real estate auctions. The workshop was attended by H.E. Eng. Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, Director General of the Department, senior businessmen, investors and representatives of the real estate development companies and real estate offices.

H.E. Eng. Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, Director General of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation said that this workshop comes with the aim of explaining the real estate auction policy and reviewing the most important and prominent tasks of the “Ajman Auctions Committee”, which was formed under the directives of the head of the Department, His Highness Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi with the aim of regulating the sale of lands and real estates. This is done by adopting renewable and innovative work methods that live up to the aspirations of the concerned parties and support efforts to keep pace with the rapid development witnessed by the Emirate of Ajman at all levels under the wise leadership of H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Ajman, may Allah protect him, and the follow-up and support from H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Chairman of the Executive Council.

The adoption of a new mechanism for holding real estate auctions comes as part of the integrated plan set by the Department to develop all its services, enhance innovative digital solutions and methods, and expand the scope of creativity in government work to ensure the creation of rich and exceptional experience for the customers and raise their levels of happiness and satisfaction, Al Muhairi added.

On his part, Mr. Yousef Rashid Al Shamsi, Chairman of the “Ajman Auctions Committee” said that the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation worked to develop the mechanism and policy of real estate auctions based on the opinion of those concerned parties and their valuable observations that outlined the bold lines for the vision and the new mechanism followed.

The Ajman Auctions projects would contribute in maintaining the stability of the real estate market, advancing the economy and enhancing the business comptetiviness and the confidence of investors and businessmen in the economic climate in the Emirate of Ajman, he stressed.
