In line with the efforts of the Government of Ajman and its endeavors to enhance the real estate investment environment in the Emirate, the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation held a Customer Council meeting to discuss the Real Estate Contribution Service, with the participation of representatives from government and private entities, as well as a number of customers and employees from various departments.

The session discussed the key principles related to the types of real estate contributions, the conditions for their registration, as well as the implementation process and all provisions governing collective investments in real estate projects.

Ahmed Khalfan Al Shamsi, Director of the Real Estate Registration Department, stated that this meeting reflects the Department’s keenness to raise awareness of real estate laws, organize the real estate investment process, and safeguard the rights of all concerned parties. He explained that a comprehensive presentation was made regarding the conditions for registering a real estate contribution, which require a title deed, a site plan, and the opening of an escrow account for the project, in addition to obtaining the property owner’s consent to allocate his property for the real estate contribution, along with other conditions and regulations that govern this process.

He further noted that this activity requires both the real estate contribution trustee and the contributor to adhere to the obligations and rights guaranteed by law to all parties, in order to ensure an organized and secure investment process, preserve the rights of owners and investors, and enhance the transparency of the real estate market in the Emirate of Ajman.
