The Department of Land and Real Estate Regulatory in Ajman, in corporation with Masar Academy, held the graduation ceremony of the first batch of the “Citizen Broker” under the generous patronage of the Chairman of the Department, His Highness Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Humaid Al Nuami, in conjunction with the celebration of the golden jubilee of the establishment of 50 real estate brokers of the citizen of the United Arab Emirates. The ceremony was attended by a number of official and dignitaries in the Emirate of Ajman.

His Highnes Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Humaid Al Nuami, the Chairman of the Department of Land Real Estate Regulation, stressed that the “Citizen Broker” initiative is of great importance in enhancing the performance of the real estate market and advancing the real estate brokerage profession through by adopting the best practices in this field, to which the Department attaches great importance and strive to develop it by a well-studied scientific methodology that has been carefully developed to ensure high-quality results and outcomes that reflect the Department’ orientation, empower and qualify Emirati youth, develop their skills, enhance their culture related to real estate trading laws and the procedures adopted for the practice of the activity of real estate brokerage and support them as entrepreneurs and investors on whom the United Arab Emirates rely to achieve its ambitious goals for the next fifty years.

From his part, the Director General of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation, His Excellency Eng. Omar bin Omair Al-Muhairi, said that Department set a clear-cut goal to qualify 50 Emirati citizens to practice the profession of real estate brokerage by December 2021, as the Department provided all the means and prerequisite for the success of this ambitious program and goal-oriented initiative which witnessed great attendance that exceeded the expectations by considering the number of the registration applications that have been received, as well as the positive interaction by participants from different societal and age groups, which confirms that the Department has succeeded in organizing 15 training programs that included 6 qualification courses and 9 specialized with 330 participants, of whom 220 participants in the Citizen Broker Initiative, where the satisfaction rate of those concerned with the offered program reached 91%.
