Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman, affirmed—during the honoring ceremony for the winners of the fifth edition of the Real Estate Classification Project, held on the sidelines of the Ajman Real Estate Investment Exhibition—that the Emirate of Ajman is steadfast in its pioneering development journey, in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman (may God preserve him), which aims to enhance the performance of the real estate sector and continue the path of comprehensive excellence that has yielded tangible results on the ground and has directly contributed to strengthening Ajman’s position as a modern city and an ideal destination for business and investment.
He added that the Real Estate Classification Project has succeeded in promoting a culture of excellence and innovation among various professionals in the real estate field, and has contributed to improving the performance of real estate development companies and real estate offices. He stressed the Department’s commitment to qualifying real estate brokers, developing their skills, enhancing their awareness of real estate trading laws, and supporting them as strategic partners and effective contributors in achieving the Department’s future objectives.
The Chairman of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation also praised the performance of real estate offices and their keenness to keep pace with the rapid growth witnessed by the real estate market in Ajman, by adopting innovative work methods and offering integrated services that reflect the reputation and status of Ajman, and align with future requirements and the aspirations of the wise leadership.
For his part, H.E. Engineer Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, Director General of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation, stated that the fifth edition of the Real Estate Classification Project introduced a new category: “Five Stars +”, aimed at fostering competition among real estate offices aspiring for excellence and leadership. He explained that Al Shamsi Real Estate Office obtained the Diamond Category classification, while Al Rasikhoon Real Estate, Al Jasmi Real Estate, and Al Janahi Real Estate Center received the “Five Stars +” classification. In total, 14 real estate offices achieved a “Five Stars” classification, and 73 offices received a “Four Stars” classification.
Al Muhairi noted that the evaluation of real estate brokers was based on their compliance with real estate laws and regulations, the number of sales transactions completed through them, their academic qualifications, the training programs they completed, as well as awards received from public and private entities—while also taking into consideration the number of complaints and violations recorded against the real estate broker.
