A Memorandum of Understanding between Ajman Land Department and Real Estate Registration in Sharjah

The Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman and the Real Estate Registration in Sharjah signed a memorandum of understanding to develop and strengthen cooperation relations between the two parties, in a way that contributes to the organization and coordination of procedures regarding the practice of real estate activities in effect with both parties.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed in the presence of H.E. Abdul Aziz Bin Nasser Al-Nuaimi, Director-General of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman and H.E. Abdul Aziz Ahmed Shamis Al Shamsi, Director General of the Real Estate Registration in Sharjah.

H.E. Abdul Aziz Bin Nasser Al-Nuaimi, Director-General of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman stressed that signing the Memorandum of Understanding is an important step to take advantage of the cumulative distinguished experiences of the two Departments and to exchange the studies and researches to improve the institutional performance and develop operations in a manner that serves the endeavours of both sides to delight the customers and meet their needs with high efficiency.

Al-Nuaimi indicated that a joint committee will be formed whose task is to set the necessary plans and programs to implement the tasks assigned to each Department.

In addition to submitting the periodic reports and the appropriate recommendations and evaluating the performance indicators under this memorandum, which would enhance the effectiveness and quality of the real estate sector in both Emirates.

H.E. Abdul Aziz Ahmed Al Shamsi, Director General of the Real Estate Registration in the Emirate of Sharjah expressed his pride in signing the Memorandum of Understanding with the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation in the Emirate of Ajman for the benefit and interest of both parties and to achieve their common goals in supporting the business sector, investors and the customers of all categories in the two emirates.

Al Shamsi also explained that the Memorandum seeks to achieve a strategic partnership between the two departments by setting the main common frameworks between them and coordinating with the competent authorities to find the current and future means of cooperation in various fields, including controlling violators to engage in the real estate activities in both emirates, thus contributing to organizing the work in the real estate sector according to well-studies and approved legal mechanisms that lead to the organizing work in the real estate sector and its prosperity in the two sister emirates.
