His Excellency Eng. Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, Director General of the Department of Lands and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman, announced that real estate transactions achieved a growth of more than 8% during the second quarter of this year compared to the first quarter, stressing that the number of real estate transactions amounted to 3,232 real estate transactions with a total value exceeding 4.56 billion dirhams, while the trading volume amounted to 3.1 billion dirhams out of a total of 2,604 trading operations.

Al Muhairi explained that the recorded figures reflect the quality of the real estate sector in Ajman and its rapid growth, given the diversity of investment opportunities across the emirate’s various regions, noting that the “Al Jurf Industrial 2” area witnessed the highest sale valued at AED 157 million.

The Director General of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation indicated that the first quarter also witnessed the registration of 458 mortgage transactions with a total value exceeding AED 867 million, an increase estimated at 14% compared to the results of the first quarter.

As for the highest mortgage value, Al Muhairi confirmed that the Al Amerah area witnessed the highest transaction at AED 155 million, while the Al-Zawraa area recorded the highest value of real estate development project sales at AED 6.92 million.
