The Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman announced the registration of 8,581 real estate transactions during the year 2021, with a total value of 12.2 billion dirhams, while the total volume of trading amounted to 7.8 billion dirhams out of a total of 6,988 trading operations.

His Highness Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Head of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation, said that the 2021 statistics confirm the Ajman real estate market maintaining of its activity, its positive levels and its attractiveness amid local and international investors in view of the investment opportunities available, the quality of services provided, and the speed and ease of completing transactions, noting that the Emirate of Ajman is moving at a steady and confident pace towards establishing a strong economy and integrated development in various fields, especially in the areas of infrastructure, which is witnessing an unprecedented boom.

His Highness affirmed that the comprehensive strategy of the Ajman government and the economic packages approved by it to confront the repercussions of the Corona pandemic have strengthened the confidence of investors and effectively contributed to the adaptation of the real estate market and other economic sectors to the changes imposed by the pandemic at the beginning of the year 2020. He indicated that the year 2021 was full of achievements as the department was able to achieve a comprehensive digital transformation, which contributed effectively to upgrading the quality of services and enhancing competitiveness in property registration, in addition to launching the Ajman Real Estate Index during the last quarter of last year, which is a qualitative addition that supports the department’s endeavors to develop the performance of the real estate sector by providing distinguished modern services that meet the needs of customers.

For his part, His Excellency Eng. Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, Director General of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation, praised the distinguished relationship that brings the Department together with its strategic partners, and he singled out the strategic partnership that exists between the Department and the Union for Water and Electricity, which culminated in the delivery of federal electricity to many real estate projects in the Emirate, which enhances the level of well-being and happiness for citizens and residents in the Emirate of Ajman. He praised as well, the electronic link with the Municipality and Planning Department and Ajman Sewerage Company, which supports the Department’s approach to adopting the latest technologies and the best digital tools in order to develop its system and provide services in a faster, more accurate and safer manner, in addition to the strategic partnership with the Ajman Digital Department, which resulted in Linking the services of the Department to the “digital identity”, which contributed to improving the customers’ experience and allowed them to complete their transactions with a high level of confidentiality and privacy.

The real estate report for the year 2021 revealed that the highest sale value was recorded in “Al-Yasmeen” with a value of 400 million dirhams, while the highest mortgage value of 94 million dirhams was recorded in the “Al-Rumaila 2” area. Al-Yasmeen neighborhood came on top of the list of the most traded neighborhoods and Ajman One” topped the list of the most traded major projects.
