His excellency, Eng. Omar Bin Omair Al Muhairi, Director-General of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation-Ajman met Al Etihad Credit Bureau’s delegation to discuss means of joint cooperation and coordination in the field of creditworthiness in the real-estate sector, in the presence of His Excellency Marwan Ahmad Lutfi, CEO, Al Etihad Credit Bureau with several officers from both sides.

Eng. Al Muhairi underlined the importance of cooperation of The Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation with Al Etihad Credit Bureau and to avail its unique services specially those related to reports and credit evaluations provided to assist individuals and organizations in understanding of financial liabilities and creditworthiness.

He also cleared that the Department seeks to enhance Real-Estate development system and provide it with the latest methods applied in the field of credit evaluation, in particular, on the level of real-estate development companies in order to raise the level of services in real-estate projects and to ensure the progress of works according to the specified schedule and to the approved terms and specifications.

It is worth mentioning that Al Etihad Credit Bureau is a federal government company that collects and analyses data related to the credit history of individuals and companies, including cheques issuance and settlement, payment bills of communication, water, electricity, and the financial liabilities issued by Courts. With the ability of “Al Etihad Credit Bureau” to achieve integration of the data received from various data providers, Al Etihad Credit Bureau becomes the sole source for issuing comprehensive credit records of individuals and companies alike.
