Ajman Lands Begins Classifying Buildings as of July 1

His Excellency Eng. Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, Director General of the Department of Lands and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman, announced that July 1 is the date for the start of the building classification process in the Emirate of Ajman, stressing that the classification process will continue for three full months, as the task has been assigned to a specialized and qualified team in order to closely monitor the readiness of buildings and real estate facilities and their compliance with the standards and regulations for this project.

He stressed that the Department has developed a matrix of standards for classifying buildings according to international levels and standards that guarantee the quality of services and facilitate investors in making their investment decisions and options related to renting or purchasing any property in the Emirate of Ajman, which is in line with the vision of the wise leadership aimed at enhancing the quality of life in real estate projects and residential complexes and making firm Ajman’s position as a modern city that provides all means of luxury and comfort for residents in line with the needs and aspirations of various segments of society.

The Director General of the Department of Lands and Real Estate Regulation explained that an integrated electronic program has been created to classify buildings and display their results directly and transparently after the completion of the field visits to the relevant real estate projects, stressing that the mechanism for classifying buildings is based on innovative modern methods that will enhance the culture of excellence among real estate development companies and building owners and activate their pivotal role in advancing the performance of the real estate sector and contributing to the realization of the Department’s vision of achieving innovative global real estate leadership.
