H. E. Eng. Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, the Director General of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman, announced the start of classifying real estate brokers within the second phase of the fourth edition of the real estate classification project launched by the Department. This comes as part of its strategy and efforts to enhance the culture of excellence among workers in the real estate sector and improve their performance to keep pace with the rapid growth and exceptional advancement taking place in the real estate sector in Ajman.

Al Muhairi stated that the second phase of the project focuses on classifying real estate brokers and evaluating their performance based on approved standards that guarantee governance and objectivity in the classification. This is achieved by examining the brokers’ compliance with real estate regulations and legislation, the number of sale transactions concluded through them, their academic qualifications, and the training programs they have completed, in addition to the honours they received from government and private entities, taking into account the number of complaints and violations filed against them.

He stressed that the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation adopts the best practices in order to enhance the performance of the real estate market and upgrade the real estate brokerage. The Department is committed to empowering and qualifying brokers, developing their skills, and enhancing their culture related to real estate trading laws and the procedures followed for practicing real estate brokerage, in addition to supporting them as a strategic partner of the Department and an effective and important element to achieve its future goals.
