Humaid Launches Assessment Criteria in the 2nd Round of Real Estate Classification Project

His Highness Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Department of Land & Real Estate Regulation in Ajman, launched today the assessment criteria for the project of star classification of buildings and real estate offices, in its second round, and as the first of its type worldwide. This project shall classify Ajman offices and buildings according to intricately designed standards and criteria, in light of the best international practices. The event was held in Vermont Hotel Ajman among a distinguished presence of VIPs and strategic partners of the Department in addition to real estate developers, real estate offices and personnel.

HH Sheikh Abdul Aziz Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi stated that this project is part of the strategy of the Department of Land & Real Estate Regulation – Ajman with the purpose of the advancement of the real estate market. It shall further enhance transparency and trust between the customers and related parties as an excellent practice and quality initiative that embodies the vision and aspirations of the Emirate 2021.

In addition, His Highness clarified that star classification project focuses mainly on compliance with the law, the responsibility of community, aesthetic appearances and quality facilities and services according to the international standards and criteria that compete with the advanced countries to ensure a bright and distinctive future for the Emirate of Ajman.

His Highness assured that the Department of Land & Real Estate Regulation – Ajman shall seek, in its next round to start from September till December 2019, to raising the number of qualified buildings and real estate offices to obtain a five-star classification.

HH invited all those operating in the real estate market in the Emirate of Ajman to intensify their cooperation with the Department and to comply with the regulations and legislation promulgated by the Department of Land & Real Estate Regulation in order to achieve its intended goals while focusing on satisfying the customers and apply the best possible excellent government standards.
