Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman organized a specialized workshop as part of the “Real Estate Awareness Initiative for 2024,” with the attendance of representatives from real estate development companies, real estate offices, brokers, and a number of officials and staff from the department.

Nasser Al Marzouqi, Director of the Real Estate Relations Regulation Department, stated that this workshop fell within the department’s ongoing efforts to regulate the real estate market and foster an investment-friendly environment aligned with the vision of the wise leadership. It aimed to meet the aspirations of stakeholders, including entrepreneurs and investors.

He added that the workshop’s agenda covered a variety of topics, including real estate inspection and monitoring processes, highlighting their importance in ensuring compliance with decrees and laws governing the real estate market. These efforts aimed to improve the investment environment and safeguard the rights of property owners and market participants.

Additionally, a comprehensive explanation was provided on the digital services portal and how to leverage its innovative technological features. The workshop also reviewed real estate classification standards and approved evaluation mechanisms, particularly aspects related to real estate governance, as well as the quality of facilities and administrative services.

The workshop further addressed the new mechanism for issuing advertising permits, recently introduced as part of the department’s efforts to curb the phenomenon of fake advertisements and impersonation of real estate brokers and offices on social media platforms.
