In line with the directives of the Ajman government and its efforts to enhance the level of security and safety and protect individuals and properties in the Emirate, the Department of Lands and Real Estate Regulation, in cooperation with the General Command of Civil Defense, held a workshop on how to confront fires and mechanisms for building safety teams and facility readiness.

During the workshop, which was held at the Department’s headquarters, the steps for dealing with fire-causing risks and the basic requirements for developing a facility evacuation plan were reviewed according to precise standards and methods that ensure efficiency and speed in dealing with emergency situations.

The workshop included practical training and a detailed explanation of the procedures followed in the event of a fire, how to report it, and the optimal use of fire extinguishers of various types, in addition to raising the level of awareness among owners of residential units in sub-properties and providing them with the skills necessary to deal with emergencies and the basic steps to provide first aid and protect individuals.
