The Department started on the application of the second phase of “Rasd” initiative concerned with qualifying the employees of the Real Estate Appraisal Department and other concerned departments according to the criteria of the International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC), which is an independent non-profit organization, that develops the technical and moral criteria for the valuation process and that is responsible for the development of the international valuation standards and the related technical instructions, aiming to efficiently protect the public interests.

The program covers a number of topics concerned with the real estate market, and the basic rules of valuation according to the international approved standards, and shows a number of methods to understand the basics of valuation of the residential, commercial and industrial assets as well as hospitals, schools and vacant plots or under construction and others.
