Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, the Chairman of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation, confirmed that the rapid pace of development and real estate boom witnessed by the Emirate of Ajman under the leadership of H. H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, and the follow-up of H. H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, the Crown Prince of Ajman, have made it necessary for all real estate sector professionals to improve their performance and redouble their efforts in order to keep pace with this development and enhance the reputation of the Emirate of Ajman and its prestigious position on the real estate map.
He added that the real estate classification project has contributed, since its launch, to enhancing the culture of excellence and innovation among the various groups working in this vital sector, and has reflected positively on the performance of real estate development companies and real estate offices, which in turn played an important role in the success of this huge project and contributing to achieving its target goals.
The Chairman of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation explained that the fourth edition of the real estate classification program introduced the creation of a new category, which is the classification of “real estate brokers”, and the assessment of their performance based on international standards, in order to enhance the performance of the real estate market, advance the real estate brokerage profession, empower brokers, develop their skills, and enhance their culture related to real estate trading laws, in addition to support them as a strategic partner for the Department and an effective and important element in achieving its future goals.
H. E. Engineer Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, the Director General of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation, said that the assessments and on-site visits included 1,019 real estate offices, where the task was entrusted to a specialized and qualified working group to closely monitor the readiness of the real estate offices and the extent of their commitment to the standards and regulations of the real estate classification program.
He pointed out that the assessment of real estate brokers depended on the extent of the brokers’ compliance with real estate regulations and legislation, the number of sales transactions concluded through them, their academic qualifications, and the training programs they completed, in addition to the honors that they received from government and private entities, taking into account the number of complaints and violations filed against them.
Al Muhairi confirmed that the fourth edition of the real estate classification project witnessed an increase in the number of offices receiving a five-star rating compared to previous editions, which reflects the success of the project and its positive impact on the performance of the various groups concerned. The final results led to 9 real estate offices obtaining a five-star rating, which are: Al Shamsi Real Estate, Al Meqnas Real Estate, Al Mutairi Real Estate Broker, Al Rasikhoon Real Estate, Al Janahi Center Real Estate, Limas Properties, Iskan Property, Al Saidi Real Estate, Wall Street Real Estate.
