His Excellency Eng. Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, Director General of the Department of Lands and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman, said that the department received 291 requests to resolve a real estate dispute during the year 2022, stressing that all disputes were settled by 100%, which reflects the efforts of the department and its continuous endeavors in order to preserve the rights of owners and traders and find Amicable solutions that satisfy all parties away from the corridors of the courts.

Al-Muhairi explained that the Real Estate Inspection and Control Department carried out 812 field inspection visits during the year 2022, in order to closely monitor the extent of real estate offices’ compliance with regulations and laws, as well as follow up the workflow of real estate projects and the scored achievement rates through the “smart follow-up” system that relies on aerial survey operations using “Drones”, which ensures the accuracy and speed of follow-up and periodic evaluation of projects.

He added that the department is striving to adopt modern methodologies and work mechanisms in the field of inspection and control in order to regulate the real estate market and improve the quality of services and develop them to keep pace with the rapid pace of growth witnessed by Ajman at various levels, appreciating the efforts of the department’s inspection teams and their important role in conveying a clear and accurate picture of Real estate market situation and providing comprehensive information on the performance of real estate offices and real estate development companies through periodic reports and recommendations that improve the practices of all stakeholders in the real estate sector.
