H. E. Engineer Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, Director General of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman, announced the commencement of assessment process and field visits to 1,019 real estate offices within the framework of the fourth session of the real estate classification project. He stressed that the assessment phase will continue until the end of next December, as the task was entrusted to a specialized and qualified work team in order to closely monitor the readiness of real estate offices and the extent of their commitment to the standards and regulations of the real estate classification program.
Al Muhairi explained that the Department seeks to make the fourth edition of this ambitious project successful and works hard to enhance the culture of excellence in real estate offices and improve their performance to keep pace with the rapid growth and extraordinary development witnessed by the real estate sector in Ajman. He stated that the department implemented seven specialized training programs during the first half of the year 2023. All focused on explaining the criteria for real estate classification and empowering and qualifying real estate offices before starting the assessment process.
The Director General of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation added that it is expected to achieve positive results and an increase in the number of offices receiving a five-star and four-star rating, due to the noticeable improvement in the level of performance of real estate offices and their effective response to the Department’s efforts aimed at making this project a success.
He also pointed out that the number of real estate offices receiving a 4-star rating increased over the past year to 50 real estate offices, an increase of 42.85%, which confirms the real estate offices’ adaptation to the real estate classification system and their positive coping with the standards and requirements set by the department in order to achieve the strategic objectives of the project, which are to consolidate the position of the Emirate of Ajman on the real estate map and to create an integrated investment environment providing high-quality services with international standards.
