The Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman and the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security Signed a “Digital Certificate” Agreement, thus becoming the first entity in the Emirate of Ajman to join the digital wallet of the United Arab Emirates, as the agreement aims to enhance cooperation between the two parties and build and effective partnership relationship that supports endeavours aimed at establishing a secure and integrated digital methodology.

The agreement was signed by H.E. Eng. Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, Director General of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman, and H.E. Maj. Gen. Suhail Saeed Al Khalili, Director General of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security.

The Digital Certificate agreement is a real added value and a qualitative shift for the digital system in the department, especially as it contributes to achieving the highest levels of security and transparency and ensures the provision of integrated and reliable digital services in line with the vision of the wise leadership and its aspiration towards a sustainable future based on technology and innovation.

Under this agreement, three main digital documents were uploaded to the UAE digital wallet, where owners can obtain the title deed, an initial registration certificate for a real estate unit, and a certificate of ownership of a real estate unit directly through the UAE PASS application.

We also appreciate the partnership with the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security and its effective contribution to improving the level of quality of services, maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality and privacy, in addition to raising the efficiency of the department’s institutional performance, improving the customer experience and enhancing their levels of happiness and satisfaction, by following modern methods that keep pace with the strategic plans and targets for the comprehensive digital transformation sought by the Government of Ajman.
