Real estate transactions of 1.4 billion dirhams in Ajman during February 2023
The Department of Lands and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman declared, through its monthly real estate report, registering 814 real estate transactions during February, with a total value of 1.4 billion dirhams and a growth of 34% compared to last January, while the trading volume reached 578 million dirhams out of a total of 533 transactions. The highest sales value was recorded in the “Al Helio 2” area, with a value of 65 million dirhams.
H.E. Eng. Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, the Director General of the Department of Lands and Real Estate Regulation, said that the accelerating growth rate achieved by the real estate sector confirms the advanced position of the Emirate of Ajman on the real estate map locally and regionally and enhances its reputation as one of the most prominent investment destinations, thanks to its business-friendly environment and the promising opportunities it provides to businessmen and investors, as well as its huge economic and commercial components and the continuous development of its infrastructure, which is one of the most important factors that attract real estate investments.
Al Muhairi added that the department recorded, during February, 179 mortgage transactions with a total of 321 million dirhams. The highest mortgage value of 105 million dirhams was recorded in “Al Mowaihat 1” area, where “Al Yasmeen” neighborhood went on the top of the list of the most traded neighborhoods, followed by “Al Zahia” and “Al Amerah”, respectively. The “Emirates City” project topped the list of the most actively traded major projects, ahead of both “Ajman” and “Garden City” projects.
