“The Department of Lands and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman” launches a service to print title deeds and ownership certificates in Braille

The Department of Lands and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman has signed a cooperation agreement with the Emirates Association for Lawyers and Legal Consultants, under which the Association commits to providing Braille printing services. This aims to streamline procedures and facilitate access to government services for all segments of society, based on both parties’ keenness to enhance community partnership, achieve inclusiveness, and provide supportive services to people of determination, particularly those with visual impairments.

The signing ceremony took place at the Ajman Saray Hotel during the “Insight and Sensation” event organized by the Youth Council of the Department of Lands and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman. The agreement was signed by Ahmed Khalfan Al Shamsi, Director General of the Department of Lands and Real Estate Regulation, and Adel Hamad Al Fard, Chairman of the Board of the Emirates Association for Lawyers and Legal Consultants, in the presence of several directors and officials from both sides.

Ahmed Khalfan Al Shamsi stated that the agreement between the two parties aims to cooperate in providing a service for printing title deeds and ownership certificates in Braille, in order to empower the blind segment of people of determination. He emphasized that this is part of the efforts made in the field of digital safety and promoting the concept of independent digital access.

He affirmed that the department will provide the document printing service in Braille through the Emirates Association for Lawyers and Legal Consultants in a professional and accredited format that meets the needs of the visually impaired, contributing to access to real estate information, in line with the UAE’s vision to achieve leadership in serving people of determination.

For his part, Adel Hamad Al Fard expressed his thanks to the Department for its strategic partnership, confirming that printing title deeds in this manner is a pioneering initiative that embodies cooperative work to serve the blind in society and enhance their satisfaction and support.

The Emirates Association for Lawyers also declared its willingness to cooperate with various authorities and institutions to facilitate the inclusion of the visually impaired and provide them with services that meet their needs while preserving their privacy.
