A coordination meeting between “Ajman Lands” and “Etihad Water and Electricity” to follow up on real estate projects


The Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman held a coordination meeting with the Etihad of Water and Electricity to follow up on real estate projects in the emirate and discuss ways to find the necessary solutions regarding accelerating the process of electricity and water connection to various projects in conformity and line with the timetable for completion and handing over.


His Excellency Eng. Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, Director General of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation, said that the Department held a meeting for coordination with all concerned parties in order to find effective feasible solutions and to ensure the delivery of vital services necessary for all projects, stressing the Department’s keenness to organize periodic field visits to real estate projects to determine the pace of works and their progress as well as the extent of the real estate developers’ commitment to the specified standards and specifications and the agreed upon handing over deadlines, besides following up the performance of the owners’ associations and management companies and submitting detailed reports to the competent authorities.


For his part, Mr. Ahmed Khalfan Al Shamsi, Acting Director of the Real Estate Projects Department, praised the efforts of the department’s strategic partners, their positive role, and their rapid response to various recent developments, which supports the department endeavors to raise the level of quality of real estate projects and ensure all means of comfort and luxury for the residents of the Emirate of Ajman, stressing the commitment of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation to its regulatory and supervisory role and its continuous endeavor to find the necessary solutions in coordination and cooperation with the concerned parties, each according to his specialization and scope of work.
