The Department of Lands and Real Estate Regulation is the first entity in Ajman to join the UAE’s Digital Portfolio
The Department of Lands and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman and the Federal Authority for Identity, Nationality, Customs and Ports Security concluded the “Digital Certificate” agreement to be the first entity in the Emirate of Ajman to join the Digital Portfolio of the United Arab Emirates, where the agreement aims to enhance cooperation between the two parties and build an effective partnership relationship that supports the efforts aimed at establishing a secure and integrated digital methodology.
The agreement was signed by His Excellency Eng. Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, Director General of the Department of Lands and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman, and His Excellency Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Director General of the Federal Authority for Identity, Nationality, Customs and Ports Security.
His Excellency Engineer Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi said that the digital certificate agreement is a real added value and a quantum leap for the digital system in the department, especially as it contributes to achieving the highest levels of security and transparency and ensures the provision of integrated and reliable digital services that are in line with the vision of the wise leadership and its aspirations towards a sustainable future based on technology and innovation.
The Director General of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation stated that under this agreement, three main digital documents were uploaded to the Digital Portfolio of the United Arab Emirates, whereby owners can obtain the title deed, an initial registration certificate for a real estate unit, and a certificate of ownership of a real estate unit directly through the UAE PASS digital identity application.
Al-Muhairi valued the partnership with the Federal Authority for Identity, Nationality, Customs and Ports Security and its effective contribution to improving the quality of services and maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality and privacy, in addition to raising the efficiency of the institutional performance of the department, improving the experience of customers and enhancing the levels of their happiness and satisfaction, by adopting modern methods that keep pace with strategic plans and targets for comprehensive digital transformation which is desired by the Government of Ajman.
