On the occasion of the 51st National Day, the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman launched its first set of non-fungible tokens “NFT”.

His Excellency Eng. Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, Director General of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation, said that the launch of this type of digital asset confirms the department’s keenness to make optimal use of “Blockchain” technologies and its constant endeavor to adopt innovative work methods and the latest technological technologies in order to provide the best services to customers and enhance their levels of satisfaction and happiness.

Al-Muhairi explained that this stage witnessed the launch of three NFT groups, where the first group was established under the name “Real Estate Souvenir Group”. The department was honored to present it to His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman – may God protect him – and His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, while the second group of “NFT” was allocated to real estate offices and real estate developers under the name “Al Kafaat (Competencies) Real Estate Group”, while the third group, which was called “Future Real Estate Group”, was allocated to the public free of charge.
