Ajman Land discusses the working mechanism of the owners’ committees

The Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman held a meeting with the Owners’ Committee of “Paradise Lakes Towers” to discuss the condition of the sub-property and to discuss challenges related to the management, operation, maintenance and repair of the common parts of the property.

His Excellency Eng. Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, Director General of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman, stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation and coordination with the owners’ committees, especially with regard to managing the common parts and facilities in accordance with Law No. 3 of 2020 regarding the regulation of owners’ affairs in the Emirate of Ajman, which aims to organize the work of the owners’ committees in sub-real estates and enable them to perform their duties in order to ensure the provision of the best services to occupants of real estate units in sub-real estates.

Omar bin Omair explained that the owners’ committees play an important role in achieving the Department’s goals that aim to make the owners and occupants of real estate units happy by meeting their needs and taking their opinions and observations into consideration in order to improve the level of services provided and improve the residents’ lifestyles in embodiment of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Ajman, may God protect him, and to achieve the vision of Ajman 2021 by improving the level of well-being and happiness for UAE citizens and residents in the emirate and providing them with the best services.

During the meeting, Nasser Al-Marzouqi, Director of the Real Estate Relations Department said that some tasks were assigned to the Owners Committee of Paradise Lakes Towers, including contracting with the management company that was awarded the tender and verifying that it manages, operates, maintains and repairs the common parts according to the building management system, as well as reviewing the annual budgets prepared for the maintenance of the sub-real estate and making recommendations thereon, and ensuring that observations and suggestions are received and responded to in accordance with the procedures stipulated in the Articles. Al-Marzouqi also called on the occupants of real estate units to adhere to the articles and the building management system in order to build a positive relationship between real estate unit owners and building management.
