Meeting to review the Ajman Digital Twin Project
His Excellency Eng. Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, Director General of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation, received Her Excellency Dr. Ahood Shahil, Director General of the Ajman Digital Department. During the meeting, which was held at the department’s headquarters, whereas, the digital twin project was reviewed and ways to develop joint work and the general framework for enhancing digital performance were discussed.
His Excellency Eng. Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi stressed that the Ajman Digital Twin Project is a qualitative addition that translates the vision and directives of the wise leadership and supports the efforts of the Ajman government aimed at improving government performance and adopting innovation to improve services through a unified and comprehensive platform that facilitates the work of government agencies and enables them to make appropriate decisions that contribute to achieving their future strategic goals.
He added that the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation is keen to make this promising project success based on its belief in the necessity of benefiting from the data available through the Ajman Digital Twin platform and using it effectively in order to plan for the future in all fields, especially in the real estate sector, which focuses primarily on statistics and digital indicators for the comprehensive and integrated picture they provide of the performance of the real estate market across the various regions of the emirate.
For her part, Her Excellency Dr. Ahood Ali Shahil, Director General of the Ajman Digital Department, stressed that the Ajman Digital Twin project is an important step towards enhancing digital transformation in the Emirate of Ajman, as the project is a unified and comprehensive platform that collects all the emirate’s data, which contributes to benefiting from this data in directing policies proactively, managing the future planning process in an optimal manner, and making better and faster decisions that support the goals of comprehensive development and meet the aspirations of citizens and residents in Ajman.
Her Excellency added that the digital twin technology comes within the framework of Ajman Vision 2030, which aims to improve the quality of life and benefit from modern technologies to build a reliable smart digital environment. The project also reflects the department’s commitment to enhancing the role of technology to improve people’s lives, support decision-making, and develop the digital infrastructure of the Emirate of Ajman.
At the end of the meeting, Her Excellency expressed her appreciation for the continuous and fruitful cooperation with the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation, stressing that the integration of efforts and continuous cooperation between government and private entities achieves a prosperous and sustainable future for Ajman, reflecting its ambitious approach to adopting technological innovations, enhancing the role of data in government making-decisions, and developing wise policies that contribute to providing well-being for the community.
