Ajman Lands holds a real estate seminar explaining Amiri Decree No. 12 of 2017 regarding real estate offices

Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation – Ajman held a real estate awareness symposium to explain Amiri Decree No. 12 of 2017 regarding real estate offices in the Emirate of Ajman, in the presence of representatives of real estate development companies, real estate offices, real estate brokers, and a number of investors, officials and employees in the department.

His Excellency Eng. Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, Director General of the department of Lands and Real Estate Regulation, confirmed that this seminar came within the framework of the department’s efforts aimed at organizing the work of real estate offices in a manner that ensured their development and qualification to keep pace with the urban and civilized renaissance witnessed by the emirate.

He added that the department was keen to organize the legal relationship between real estate offices and the public of dealers of all categories in order to enhance the real estate investment environment and preserve the rights of owners and traders, especially in light of the rapid real estate growth and great urban expansion in various regions of the Emirate of Ajman.

He pointed out that the real estate symposium focused on 24 articles included in Amiri Decree No. 12 of 2017, highlighting the classification of real estate activities that real estate offices may practice in the emirate under the provisions of this decree. They included the activity of real estate inspection services, the activity of real estate valuation services, the activity of buying and selling real estate in the name of the office, the activity of investing in the real estate of others, the activity of real estate consulting, the activity of mortgage consulting, the activity of brokerage in the sale and purchase of real estate, the activity of brokerage in leasing real estate and other real estate activities, in addition to explaining the professional duties of the real estate broker.

The Director General of the department of Land and Real Estate Regulation called on all workers in the real estate sector to adhere to the regulations and laws enacted by the government in order to regulate the legal relationship between real estate offices and dealers and contribute to the renaissance of the real estate market and move the wheel of economic development in the Emirate of Ajman.
