Real Estate Project Registration

Recording of a main real estate project: It is a service allowing the real estate developer to record a main real estate project in the register of the real estate projects at the Department, for a period of 5 years.

Recording of a branch real estate project: It is a service allowing the real estate developer to record a real estate project or the investment building in the register of the real estate projects at the Department, for a period equal to the duration of the building license.

Required Documents

  • The Master Plan of the project, the infrastructure plans, and the services plans of the project, approved by the Municipal Department.
  • Signatures approvals form (Developer - consultant - contractor) ratified by the Notary Public.
  • The contracts of the consultant and the contractor with copies of the Trade Licenses.

Process

  • Receiving the parties concerned
  • Ensure fulfillment of the requirements
  • Provide waiting number to customers
  • Receiving the transaction from the transactor
  • Completing the service procedures in the system
  • Payment of fees
  • Receiving of a recording certificate of a main/branch project

Service Fees

  • Recording of a main real estate project AED200,000.00 to be paid annually for a period of 5 years.
  • Issuance of a recording certificate of a main real estate project AED500.00
  • Remark regarding the amendment of ownership of land from the name of its owner to the name of the real estate project AED5,000.00
  • Approval of the guarantee account of the real estate project agreement in the register of the real estate projects between a developer and an Account Secretary AED500.00
  • Recording of a branch real estate project AED15,000.00 to be paid annually for a one year duration equal to the building license.
  • Issuance of a recording certificate of a branch real estate project AED500.00
