Registration of Cancellation/Modification of Will (Complementary)

It is the process of documenting the transaction of cancelling or modifying the ownership of a real estate or a real estate unit pursuant to the request of the Legator based on a letter from the legal court

Required Documents

  • For Individuals: Property title deed or property unit ownership certificate., Proof of the testator., A letter from the Sharia court to cancel and amend the will., Clearance of sanitation., Certificate of objection from the developer to real estate units.
  • For Businesses: Property title deed or property unit ownership certificate., Proof of the testator., A letter from the Sharia court to cancel and amend the will., Clearance of sanitation., Certificate of objection from the developer to real estate units.

Process

  • Submitting the application request and required documents through the E-services portal
  • Reviewing and approving the application by the concerned sections in AjmanRe Department.
  • Fees Payment
  • Receiving the title deed/certificate during the official working hours from AjmanRe Department headquarters

Service Fees

  • AED 500 as application for modification or cancellation of a Real Estate/ Real Estate unit by way of a inheritance
  • AED 350 fees for issuing of the ownership certificate or title deed.
